TherapyWorks, P.A. has been serving the Lawrence community since 1994 with the mission of restoring each patient to a healthy, active lifestyle. With a staff including Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, Personal Trainers and Sports Performance Trainers, we provide a caring, comfortable and professional atmosphere. Through hands-on treatment techniques and an emphasis on patient education, we are able to maximize each client’s potential outcome. Below you will find a brief profile of each therapist including his or her specific clinical interests. Please know that while areas of particular interest are listed, each therapist has strong orthopedic skills and are regularly involved in the treatment of all types of injuries and disorders.
Cindy completed her pre-physical therapy studies at the University of
Florida and received her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy at
the Medical College of Georgia in 1988. She later received her master’s
degree in Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology from the University of
Kansas in 1996 with a research focus on the spine. In addition, she completed
a 2-year certification process in manual therapy in 2008. She has a special
interest in orthopedics, manual therapy, and women’s health. Cindy
is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and currently
serves on several not-for-profit boards. Cindy and her husband Chris have
been married 23 years and they have 4 children ages 2-14. Her hobbies
include travel, hiking, camping, and numerous kids activities.

Audrey graduated with her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2006 from Wichita State University. Since graduating, she has worked in outpatient orthopaedics in the Wichtia area and now in Lawrence. Audrey loves working with patients of all ages and enjoys the one on one interaction that the outpatient orthopaedic setting provides. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband Tanner and her favorite little guy and sweetheart son Rawlin Reed. She also enjoys spending time with friends and her hobbies include jogging (usually with Rawlin in the jogging stroller), yoga, snow/water skiing, playing Wii, playing with her dogs "Dub" and "Hank," and cheering on the WSU Shockers and KU Jayhawks.
Sara graduated from Washburn University’s Physical Therapy Assistant
program with top of her class honors in May 2010. Her clinical interests
include orthopedics, neurologic therapy, and pediatrics. In her spare
time she enjoys being with her children, playing with the family dog,
and working on home projects.
